What are your shipping rates?

For most items listed on chain.com.au, there is a set delivery fee based on weight and distance. See rates below. These rates apply to online orders only.

Please note that shipping delays beyond our control may occur so we do not guarantee delivery times.

Some items, due to their size and weight may require a custom quote (view example). In that case, freight cost is determined by distance, size and weight. This will be noted on the item description. Add the item to your cart to request a shipping quote. You won't be charged for the product until you approve the custom shipping quote.

Items will be shipped after full payment has been confirmed. (Subject to stock availability).  

Other items also have online custom shipping rates due to their weight and/or size. View an example here. Please purchase these items separately in order to enable shipping. 

Can I purchase over the counter at your factory?

Yes, you can. However, please note that not all products, including Downee and  Interclamp, are kept on-site, and some may take up to 24 hours to arrive. For same-day over-the-counter purchases, we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability.

Can I collect an item?

Yes you can collect direct from our factory.

Either order and pay online, and select 'factory pick up' during the shipping method check-out process. We will notify you once your order is ready.

Alternatively, you can call +61 3 9331 5544 to confirm your required product is in stock, and arrange payment via phone or upon collection. 

Collections can be made at 6 Lemmon Ave, East Keilor between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Victorian Public Holidays).

Chain.com.au delivers Australia wide.

We also sell internationally but please call +61 3 9331 5544 or email sales@abaconproducts.com.au to order outside of Australia.

Do you deliver outside Australia?

Yes, we can arrange to export our products overseas. Please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.

What is your minimum order?

Depending on the product you can order 1 unit, or as in the instance of chain, as little as 1 metre. Of course, if you are looking to bulk buy or supplies for your own retail sales, we can assist with that too.

How do I send customer feedback?

How is 'chain by the metre' cut?

When you order 'chain by the metre' we will send you the full amount ordered in one batch. i.e. if you order 5 x 1 metres of chain, this will be supplied as one full length. If you require your chain order to be cut into individual lengths, please let us know in the notes section upon checkout.

What is your refund policy?

Your satisfaction is our top priority. If your item is faulty upon receipt or is not as described, we will gladly exchange the item or refund your credit card. All returns are subject to us receiving the item back within 14 days after you have received the product. 

All chains and wire rope purchased “by the metre” are cut to length and so therefore non-returnable, unless faulty. Thank you for your understanding.
