Refund and Returns
Your satisfaction is our first priority at chain.com.au. If your item is faulty upon receipt or is not as described, we will gladly exchange the item or refund your credit card. All returns are subject to us receiving the item back within 14 days from time of receiving. Items must be returned with their original packaging and, unless they were faulty prior to you receiving them, must still be in an unused and saleable condition.

Regarding faulty or incorrect goods we issue a full refund including shipping, we will also pay for sending the goods back to us! For "change of mind" we are happy to issue a refund on the goods if we recieve them back within 14 days although the refund will not include shipping. The cost of sending them back will also not be covered on "change of mind" refunds.

All chains and wire rope purchased “by the metre” are cut to length and so therefore non-returnable and non-refundable, unless faulty. All items purchased as “seconds and discount stock” have no refunds or returns. Thank you for your understanding. 

We reserve the right to terminate any sale before it has been shipped and refund the buyer. 

Interclamp & Fence and Gate Fittings 

Please ensure you select the correct item and size as there is a 15% restocking fee on all exchanges and returns on Interclamp products and fence and gate fittings. If you need help with sizing please chat with our friendly team. 

Returns Process
To return an item, please send it to:

  • Abacon Products, 6 Lemmon Avenue, Keilor East, Victoria 3033

Please note the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost. Returns can also be dropped off directly at the above address during standard business hours Monday to Friday. 

Include the following information with your return:

  • Order number if known (appears on the top of the confirmation email)
  • Name and address
  • Description of the item you are returning
  • Whether you would like a refund or exchange. If you wish to exchange it for a different item, please include the name and item number of the replacement item.
